Self-forgiveness

An apology for the wrong doing of another doesn't always yield forgiveness. I have learned in cases where I've apologized to others, I too had to apologize and forgive myself. I don't know if it's human nature or an intentional act but those who have been hurt will continuously hold you where you have wronged them. They too must forgive themselves to allow healing to take place. Living in a mistake isn't how we correct them. In fact it's how we repeat them. However, taking accountability for our role in the issue is the first step to gaining control of the problem and then you can move on to develop a resolution. Lesson: Not everyone will forgive you. However don't give control of your future over to your past mistakes. Identify the issue, face the issue and do not run from it. Approach with an open mind, placing no blame and begin developing a plan to grow forward... #LetsTakeFlight

Wrong Chance, Right People...

Why do we always seem to give the wrong people the right chance and the right people the wrong chance!? Could it be that the wrong chances are preparing us for the right people (opportunities)... #vjcolemanjr

Fun & Games...

#MyThoughts: Dating should be fun as well as, a learning experience! Not just learning about the other person but about yourself too. Openly dating (not sex) can teach you more about yourself than you might learn about the other person. People say, this is who I am, I'm not changing, choose me or loose me, blah-blah-blah. Well, truth is we all change or adjust even the littlest things when we're dating. And if the person you're dating doesn't measure up, keep it moving. We all have potential but how long do you wait for potential to come to light. The way I see dating is with love and relationships, the only thing lost is the lessons not learned and the time it'll take you to experience/learn them again... #vjcolemanjr

Why Complain...

#MyThoughts: Y'all complain "these _____ don't work" only to turn around and bash them for getting a job a McDonalds, Jeep/Chrysler. What is it with the human mind to try and destroy everything around us!? The more people working, the more tax revenue to clean our communities, support our schools, police and fire. All services we need to grow the next generation. #ShutUp and support anyone who is trying to do right. Because when they shooting, robbing, pushing dope or stripping to pay the bill you'll be judging and complaining about that too... #vjcolemanjr

HGTV: How God Transforms Visions

#MyThoughts: Our lives should constantly be under reconstruction. It's like God is renovating the place, he's taken out old things and installed new. When old friends were too weak to support the blessings he placed in your life he supplied new ones to support the load. When ex's said you would never be anything more, he supplied next's to show you what you're living for. He is the bank, the banker and carpenter of all your improvements. So let your praise and worship be the credit report that funds your next blessing. When I look around and see all the new construction in my life, I cant help but thank him for approving my bad credit! #vjcolemanjr

"Have you put in the time"

They say "It takes 10,000 hours to become a professional, master or expert of/at something" -Unknown. Many say they want to have/do something and give up on it after a few failed attempts. If it takes 10,000 hours to become a master why would to cry and give after just a few hours or attempts. This will apply to relationships, careers, dreams and more. So the question is: have you put in the time? Not just the good times but the bad times as well... #vjcolemanjr
